Experience bowling in paradise by the Murray River.....

Welcome to the Moorook Bowling Club, we’re a friendly active club fortunate to experience the peacefulness and beauty of the Murray River whilst engaging in a game of bowls. The bowling green looks out to the river, it creates the perfect atmosphere to share a laugh with locals and create new friendships. Sounds inviting?…. you’re right, we encourage you to share a game and experience it for yourself.  The club’s easy to locate in the main street, with plenty of roadside and onsite parking available.

Our club holds a rich history of 88 years, established in 1936 with current membership open to everyone.

The club is a member of Bowls SA and Bowls Riverland in which we actively participate throughout the year in various competitions.  The Moorook Bowling Club currently hosts 2 annual carnivals being Open Fours and Ladies Gala Day.  The new greens has enabled Social Bowls to commence, supporting the community to enjoy the benefits of sports and keeping healthy.

We welcome and encourage anyone to give the sport a roll.

                    1st Official Roll – Moorook Bowling Club Green Upgrade 18.2.24

The members of the Moorook Bowling Club were proud to release their new uniform at the official opening of the Green upgrade on 18 February 2024.  Between Mar 2022 – Feb 2024, the club had several challenges and setbacks with the upgrade however with perseverance and commitment we feel the club’s in a stronger position to function into the future and attract players with the new green.
